Narrator (cheerful tone): “In a world full of scammers, hackers and malicious actors,
developing risk-based thinking is crucial to protect your business.
[Scene 1: A House with Locks]
Narrator: “In some ways, your business is like your home. Your home has entry points
such as doors and windows, which an intruder will look to compromise to break in. The
same is true at work. Management should take the lead in identifying weak spots within
the business which could allow a cybercriminal to break in.”
[ADL Paul (holding a giant key): “Lock it up tight! No cyber burglars allowed!”]
[Scene 2: Mini-Crisis in the Office]
Narrator: “Uh-oh! Looks like we have a mini-crisis! A suspicious email just landed in the
inbox.”
[ADL Paul (wearing a superhero cape): “Never fear, ADL Paul is here!”]
[ADL Paul rushes to the computer, dramatically puts on glasses, and inspects the
email.]
ADL Paul: “Aha! This email has a dodgy link. Time to activate the spam filter and delete
it!”
[ADL Paul presses a big red button labelled ‘Spam Filter,’ and the email disappears
with a funny sound effect.]
ADL Paul (dusting his hands): “Crisis averted! Remember, folks, always think before
you click!”
[Scene 3: Back to the House]
Narrator: “So in this instance, what was the vulnerability? It was the staff, potentially
clicking on a link and opening the doors to a hacker. And what helped ADL Paul to
identify the danger? Well, if you noticed the door to your home was unsafe, you’d look to
strengthen it. Perhaps replacing the door, adding additional locks or even an intruder
alarm. So once management identify a risk in their business, they must put controls in
place to protect them. How did they help you, ADL Paul?”
[ADL Paul (holding a magnifying glass): “Management issue us with regular security
awareness training, just like this video, so we can spot the weak points and fix them
before the cyber burglars do !”]
[Closing Scene: A Group of Happy People with ADL Paul]
Narrator: “By developing risk-based thinking, you can prevent cyber-attacks and keep
your business safe and sound. So, be proactive, stay vigilant, and keep your information
as secure as your home!”
ADL Paul (excited): “Stay safe, everyone!”
